Star Wars Battlefront

The writers of Star Wars Battlefront II‘s single-player campaign took the chance to come forward following the game’s recent reveal.

In a post to his Twitter account, game writer Walt Williams revealed that he is part of the talent writing the story campaign for the upcoming Star Wars shooter, alongside ex-IGN reporter Mitch Dyer. Williams is most recognized for his critically acclaimed work on 2012’s Spec Ops: The Line.

While development on Star Wars Battlefront II is being headed by DICE, two additional teams—Motive Studios and Criterion Games—are lending hands with the single-player and multiplayer, respectively. Motive was founded by former Assassin’s Creed producer Jade Raymond, and is now working with Williams and Dyer on the highly anticipated story for the sequel to 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront.

Star Wars Battlefront II is slated to launch November 17th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Fans interested in keeping up to date on the sequel will want to stay tuned into EGMNOW’s full coverage leading up to release.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
