Artwork for a game known as Star Wars: First Assault has appeared on Xbox.com, but what is this mysterious title?

The image was discovered by a NeoGAF user who was combing the site for artwork of unannounced and upcoming titles. Back in August LucasArts filed a trademark for the First Assault name, but apart from this we know absolutely nothing about it. By the looks of the artwork and the name I’d say it will be a similar title to the Battlefront series, but nobody can know for sure at the moment.

A LucasArts rep told IGN, “It is an exciting time at our company right now, however we don’t have any announcements at this time.”
