Star Wars: The Old Republic Friends Trial Expanded

THE BUZZ: BioWare has expanded the Star Wars: The Old Republic friends trial to 25 invites per subscriber.

Previously only three friends were allowed to be invited under the scheme, with each receiving seven days of access to the game. Now 25 friends can be invited. If a user has already invited three friends these will count towards the 25. Invites can be sent from your account page on the official website, and users have 14 days to accept.

Those who accept will be capped at level 15 can only visit the first two planets and the fleet.

EGM’s TAKE: If you’re unsure about whether or not to buy the game, and you know someone who plays, then this is the perfect opportunity to jump in. Simply get them to send you an invite and enjoy seven days of game time to help make up your mind. There’s more than enough content to make your decision as you get to experience the game’s story, a warzone and a flashpoint during the trial.
