Star Wars: The Old Republic lead designer Daniel Erickson has officially announced his departure from BioWare and has begun looking for a new job.

Erickson’s departure was hinted at several weeks after he updated his LinkedIn profile with “actively looking for new opportunities.” He made it official via a new Twitter account posting, “As part of leaving BioWare I am officially starting a twitter account for job hunt and design thoughts.”

The reason for Erickson leaving is still unknown, but hopefully it won’t damage the game’s development in any way.
