EA and BioWare have finally lifted the lid on patch 1.3 for Star Wars: The Old Republic in this brand new trailer.

Game director James Ohlen discusses the content that will be included in update 1.3, titled Allies, and also gives a sneak peak at patch 1.4. This patch introduces the much requested LFG (Looking for Group) feature that will allow players to form groups for Flashpoints and Operations without the need to spam General Chat. It also adds a number of new Legacy perks such as experience boosts and other quality of life items.

LFG is desperately needed if BioWare wants more players to take part in the PVE content. The amount of time it takes to get a group together at the moment is ridiculous, so hopefully with a shorter grouping time more players will be willing to join the fracas. Server transfers should also be coming with 1.3, which should really help some of the lighter servers and improve the community overall.
