Star Wars: The Old Republic executive producer Jeff Hickman has shared some details regarding the game’s 1.7 update in a new blog post.
The update will include a new “special PvP area” on Illum and will signal a return for the Gree Enclave. Hickman also noted that the upcoming Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion will include “several new systems, 5 new levels, a big new planet, new storylines, new skills and abilities, and more beyond that.”
Finally Hickman offered a small update on the highly requested Same Gender Romances. “As we have said in the past, allowing same gender romance is something we are very supportive of,” he wrote. He added that same-gender romance will be available with “some NPCs on Makeb and we do intend on pursuing more SGR options in the future.”
