After over a year the Rakghoul plague has returned to Star Wars: The Old Republic as part of the new Rakghoul Resurgence recurring event.

To begin the event chain simply head to any of the news terminals on the fleet and view the cutscene. Players will then have to travel to Alderaan where they will find a new area called The Spike, which is a giant drill that THORN and GSI are using to reach the Rakghoul caverns.

The event includes a new set of dailies to complete, new infected companion customizations, new mini pets, and new infected mounts.
