Blizzard recently announced at BlizzCon 2017 that StarCraft II is going free-to-play on November 14th.

Players will have access to the entirety of its “Wing of Liberty” campaign, ranked multiplayer ladder, and all current and upcoming co-op commanders up to level five, with Raynor, Kerrigan, and Artanis staying completely free.

In addition, players who already own “Wings of Liberty” can get the follow-up installment, “Heart of the Swarm,” for free until December 8th. And if you already own all three expansions, Blizzard is going to gift you an exclusive Ghost skin and three new portraits.

Michael Goroff has been gaming for almost three decades. He's a lover of all games and systems, but he mostly plays Xbox. That being said, if he's a fanboy, he's a fanboy for the game industry as a whole. Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.
