Start Thinking With Proposals

Marriage proposals through video game mediums are not uncommon in this age. From Bejewled-based homebrews, to Pokémon themed surprises, to even cinematics from famous loud-mouthed robots, guys have been wooing their nerdy ladies with some impressive requests/tricks.

So this latest proposal from Gary Hudston to his girlfriend is no surprise, but at the same time just so darn impressive. Mr. Hudston posted a “Want Ad” on the website ThinkingWithPortals.com requesting a “good level designer for a secret project”.

In stepped Doug Hooland and Rachel “Miss Stabby” van der Meer who began to put the three level project together, with the added bonus of audio recording by GLaDOS’s voice actor, Ellen Mclaine.

The result? A hilarious, clever, and endearing proposal.

And of course, Stephanie said “yes”. You don’t tempt GLaDOS.
