Undead Labs has confirmed that a PC version of its Xbox Live Arcade hit State of Decay will be releasing later this year.
The PC version will feature enhanced graphics, higher resolutions, and an improved frame rate. It “will not have different content or features, however” Undead stated. “What the PC version also won’t have are modding tools (for time/testing reasons), but we have no objection to mods or modders, and we look forward to seeing what our PC players come up with.”
The developer added that it will be more specific on a release date “as soon as we can.” The plan is to release a controller-only PC version on Steam before the official launch to give fans a chance to test the game and offer feedback. The final PC version will feature mouse and keyboard support.
