Valve’s Steam Community Market, which allows Steam users to buy, sell, and trade consumables, has now entered beta.

Right now, only Team Fortress 2 items are available, such as supply crate keys, name tags, decal tools, and paint. Valve plans to expand their economy to encompass more and more Steam games over the course of 2013.

According to the Community Market FAQ, there’s currently a 5% transaction fee—which may be increased or decreased in the future—a $200 cap for Steam Wallet balances, and a $200 maximum sales price on items.
