Steam’s Greenlight platform will now allow people to submit non-gaming software for release on Steam.
Steam has so far approved dozens of games for the platform, but now it’s branching out to non-gaming software. The update adds “the ability for developers to post non-gaming software for consideration by the Community.” The approval and voting system is exactly the same as it is for gaming software.
To submit your software, or see what has been submitted, just head over to this site.
