It’s time to d-d-d-d-d-d-d-dual! Valve has put a new Steam rewards program into beta titled Steam Trading Cards.
This new system allows players to collect trading cards and then trade them in for rewards such as game badges, profile backgrounds, coupons, and more.
The list of games currently supporting Trading Cards includes Don’t Starve, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, and Half-Life 2. Valve has stated that more games will be added to this list over the coming months.
To get involved in the beta all you have to do is join the Steam Trading Cards group. Valve is inviting players to the beta in the order that they join this group, sooner you join, the sooner you get in.
