Microsoft has flipped the switch on its Xbox Live migration page, making switching your account region easier than ever before.

The tool was spotted as a pilot scheme a few weeks ago and allows users to swap their Xbox Live accounts from one part of the world to another quickly and easily. Gamerscore, Microsoft Points, and remaining Gold membership time can all be moved across, but region specific app subscriptions will not be carried over.

“Before you change your region, make sure you’ve downloaded any purchased content you want to keep, like movies or music. Content purchases aren’t refundable,” Microsoft warns.

Region switching can only be performed once every three months.
