Street Fighter’s Ryu, Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion Clash In This Fan Fight Video

Stunt teams “GakAttack” and “Team 2X” have released their latest “Fan Fights” video, this time moving away from superheroes and going to a classic video game match-up. Who would win in a fight: Ryu or Scorpion?

Many other Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat videos often take gameplay assets to make their point, but the hook of this is the live-action actors, both of who are trained professionals.

From a glance, this battle has even better choreography and camera work than the first “Batman vs. Captain America” episode, with an emphasis on particularly long takes during extended sequences of fisticuffs between the two.

Although you can vote for either character in the first video, we’re going to link to those results here.

After watching the video below, you can check out Ryu’s victory sequence here. Scorpion’s Fatality, on the other hand, isn’t really quite as gory as Mortal Kombat fans might expect, but that’s not a dealbreaker.

Hopefully, Gak Attack and Team 2X do another video game-related fight in the next episode—perhaps Link vs. Cloud?
