Didn’t make it out to San Diego Comic-Con to snag one of these special edition Hello Kitty x Street Fighter dolls for yourself? Don’t worry—they may be heading to a retail store near you, if you’re man enough to pick one up outside of a comic book convention.
Joystiq talked to a representative at Capcom’s SDCC booth, who said that the toys would be pushed to “as many stores as possible” after the event. Good news!
Right now, that would include the Hello Kitty Ryu, Hello Kitty M. Bison, and Hello Kitty Chun Li dolls, and based on SDCC photos from this weekend, they’ll all come to shelves in “small” and “mega-size” varieties. It looks like Capcom knows a hot thing when they see it.
Heck, I’m going to buy one as soon as I see it. Still, there’s a dilemma—do I degrade myself to entering a Hot Topic store, or shelve my masculinity by willingly walking into a Sanrio Store?
