Capcom is currently working on a patch to fix a game-breaking glitch that occurred after the latest Street Fighter X Tekken update was released.
According to the publisher the glitch occurs, ”anytime knife-like projectiles (Ibuki, Cody, Rolento etc) collide with fireballs (Ryu, Chun Li etc),” and causes the game to crash. ”The development team is currently examining the problem and planning to patch the game as quickly as possible. The patch to fix the glitch should be released by mid June,” said Tomoaki Ayano, who is part of the SFxT dev team.
“We truly apologize for this problem, and hope everyone will be patient until the patch is released,” he added.
Things are just going from bad to worse for Capcom. First there was the infinite combo glitch ruining multiplayer, and upon finally fixing it the patch introduced this new bug. Fans can forgive one mistake, but a second major issue like this could drive many of them away. A few weeks is a long time to wait for a fix for a bug this big.
Is a few weeks too long? Is the glitch a major issue to you?
