Strider Rages Against Machines in 7-Minute Gameplay Video

Posted on July 19, 2013 AT 12:07pm

Following yesterday’s Strider announcement, Capcom has released a new video that features 7 minutes of uninterrupted sci-fi ninja gameplay.

Capcom announced Strider yesterday, during San Diego Comic-Con. The 2.5D Metroidvania-style side-scroller is being developed by Double Helix, the team behind Xbox One’s Killer Instinct.

The 7-minute video (embedded below) really highlights the Metroidvania nature of the new Strider, while also showcasing Strider Hiryu’s talent for tearing apart robot soldiers.

Strider dashes onto PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC early 2014.
