Strider hitting consoles and PC later this month with speed run and survival modes

Posted on February 5, 2014 AT 12:30pm

Capcom’s Strider revival will arrive on PS4 and PS3 February 18 and on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC February 19, the company announced today.

Capcom also detailed Strider’s extra modes, including Beacon Run—a speed run-inspired racing mode that requires players to get from checkpoint to checkpoint as quickly as they can—and Survival Mode, in which players most battle waves of enemies that become increasingly more and more challenging. Both of these modes, as well as the main story mode, will feature global leaderboard scores.

Strider will also feature a bevy of customizable costume options that let players deck out the cyber-ninja in their preferred style, including hair style, face mask, torso armor, torso under armor, arm wraps, chaps, leggings, leg wraps, and shoes.

All versions of Strider will cost $14.99 when the game launches February 18 and February 19.
