Unknown Worlds Entertainment has released its single-player underwater survival game Subnautica on Xbox One via the Game Preview program.

For those who are unaware, Xbox One Game Preview is similar to Steam Early Access and allows players to purchase and play beta versions of upcoming games before their official release date.

“Descend into the depths of an alien underwater world filled with resources, creatures, wonder and threats,” the developer explains. “Craft equipment and submarines to explore lush coral reefs, volcanoes, cave systems, and more ? All while trying to survive in the open-world, underwater adventure game Subnautica. Still in development, Unknown Worlds Entertainment continues to grow and develop this world through regular updates and open development. Enjoy a sea of exploration as the world of Subnautica expands before your very eyes over the coming months.”

The Xbox One version of Subnautica will follow the same development path as the Steam Early Access version and includes all content up to and including the H.2O update.

Subnautica is available now on Xbox One for $19.99.
