Insomniac Games’ Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive will be released on October 28th, the company has announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

The open-world third-person shooter features over-the-top, parkour-laced gunplay and a cartoony aesthetic. Also announced during the press conference was full character customization, though it’s not clear whether that will go down to fundamentals like gender and physical appearance.

The game will ship with both a single-player experience and an eight-player co-op mode running off of dedicated cloud servers.

Check back later in the week for more information about Sunset Overdrive, including our impressions from the E3 show floor.
