Just in time for the Big Game, Madden NFL 17 has updated player stats to reflect the most recent real-world happenings.
With the Atlanta Falcons on the warpath, it makes sense that we see them receiving numerous increases to stats in Madden NFL 17‘s most recent update. Making one of the more positive moves is wide receiver Julio Jones, whose overall rating was bumped up to 98. Sorry you didn’t make the 99 club, Jones, maybe next year. Also hopping up is Falcon’s quarterback Matt Ryan, gaining three points to his overall rating after an incredible showing against the Green Bay Packers.
Here are some other ups and downs as we head towards the Super Bowl, as posted by EA Sports:
Up:
- Matt Ryan (Falcons) [95 OVR]
- DeAngelo Williams (Steelers) [82 OVR]
- Tom Brady (Patriots) [95 OVR]
Down:

- Ryan Shazier (Steelers) [80 OVR]
