THE BUZZ: Japanese display cases have confirmed that Super Mario 3D Land’s StreetPass features have made the cut.

Nintendo said a few months ago that it were unsure if it would include StreetPass features in the game. Well eagle-eyed fans have spotted display cases being put out by Japanese retailers that confirm the features inclusion. Players will be able to swap items and other things via StreetPass, however no further details were provided.

EGM’s TAKE: It would have been a bad move on Nintendo’s part to not include StreetPass functionality with one of the most anticipated 3DS games to date.
