Nintendo has announced that Super Mario 3D World will be coming to Wii U this December, featuring multiplayer and a new Mario power up.

The game will allow players to play as either Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Princess Peach. Players also have the option of either playing cooperatively or competitively. Super Mario 3D World also adds a new power up called Cat Mario, which allows him to run up walls and scratch enemies.

The game is due to release December 2013 for Wii U.
