Super Neptunia RPG Western release delayed

Idea Factory International has pushed back the Western release of Super Neptunia RPG on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch from spring to summer.

The upcoming 2D side-scroller is being developed by Artisan Studios and is set in a version of Gameindustri where 2D games reign supreme. Neptune wakes up with no memory other than her name and with the help of a mysterious girl called Chrome must go on a journey to regain her memory.

It was also mentioned that while gameplay is unaltered from the Japanese release, the PlayStation 4 version of the game will contain two “slightly modified” CGs.

Super Neptunia RPG is due to release this summer for PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
