Super Smash Bros

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has just gotten a new patch, and it fixes an issue with one of the game’s Challenges.

Patch 2.0.1 is fairly small, but it brings a necessary change to a bug introduced in the recent 2.0.0 update. Ever since that patch arrived, players have been unable to complete an Adventure Challenge with King K. Rool, no matter how well they did. This minor update fixes that, and should resolve the problem as soon as players load their Adventure save data.

Update 2.0.0 brought some major changes to the game, so it’s not surprising that one or two bugs slipped through. It introduced Piranha Plant as a fighter and made many small tweaks to character movesets and abilities. Nintendo has another huge update on the way, Update 3.0.0, which is set to arrive sometime this spring. Until then, the only changes we’ll see in Ultimate will likely be small ones like the bug fix above.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
