Posted on May 13, 2014 AT 11:25am

Swords & Soldiers HD, a high-res port of Romino Games’ 2D side-scrolling real-time game, will wander its way onto the Wii U eShop May 22, developer Two Tribes announced.

The first title from Awesomenauts developer Romino, Swords & Swords originally debuted on Wii in June 2009, followed by a worldwide launch on PS3 in September and a Windows and Mac PC release in December. In addition to giving the game a visual upgrade, port developer Two Tribes has also incorporated Gamepad touchscreen support, Wiimote support, and—according to their blog post—“the ultimate BBQ” source.

Swords & Soldiers HD be available for a paltry $2.99 (€2,99 in Europe) when it launches in both Europe and the Americas on May 22.
