Sony officially announced Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4 during its E3 press conference last week, and now Digital Foundry has created a video comparing it with footage taken from the PlayStation 3 version.

Comparisons of the two trailers show a major upgrade for the PlayStation 4 version. Improvements include crashing waves, improved textures, higher detail levels, more foliage, enhanced lighting, more wildlife, and higher density traffic.

According to Rockstar, the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions include “across-the-board graphical and technical improvements,” such as increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions. As well as this, players will be able to transfer their PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Grand Theft Auto Online progress to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.
