Take-Two Files ‘Bully Bullworth Academy: Canis Canem Edit’ Trademark in Europe

Posted on November 25, 2013 AT 11:31am

A new trademark filed in Europe by Take-Two Interactive for Bully Bullworth Academy: Canis Canem Edit suggests a new Bully game might be in development.

Take-Two filed the trademark through the Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union last week, on November 20. A graphic representation included with the trademark information shows the Bullworth crest from the original Bully.

Bully debuted on PS2 October 17, 2005 in North America, and a year later on October 25, 2006 in Europe. It was later ported to Wii and Xbox 360 under the name Bully: Scholarship Edition. It’s worth pointing out that the PAL region versions of the PS2 game were titled Canis Canem Edit, Latin for “dog eats dog.”

Take-Two also filed a new trademark for “Bully” in North America earlier this year, on July 25.
