Grand Theft Auto V

THE BUZZ: Take-Two has assured investors during a recent financial call that Grand Theft Auto V, is “making great progress” in its development.

When asked the firm decided not to address talk of a release date for the title simply saying, ”Grand Theft Auto V is making great process.” Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick did reveal that the game, ”promises to continue Rockstar’s incredible track record of delighting fans by raising the bar in interactive entertainment”.

EGM’s TAKE: So much mystery surrounding GTA V. Many analysts believe that the game will be released during the next financial year beginning April 1, which is a good bet considering that Rockstar has Max Payne 3 coming out in May. Don’t expect to see Grand Theft Auto V until at least October of this year and that’s assuming development goes smoothly. We’re all dying to get back on the mean streets of GTA and pretend to be gangsters, our real jobs sadly don’t allow us to drive cars off the top of multi-story car parks into low flying helicopters.
