It appears that one of those trademarks filed by Namco Bandai was for an actual Tales of game as the publisher has announced Tales of Link for mobile devices.

The game was announced in the latest issue of Japanese magazine Jump and is set to release this fall in Japan. Four characters have been confirmed so far: Sara, Rippi, Shiza, and Leone. The magazine also states that characters from previous Tales of games could be returning.

PSA: The image above is of Tales of Xillia, not Tales of Link.
