2K Games and Firaxis Games has unveiled Georgia as the next civilization to be added to Civilization VI as part of the upcoming Rise and Fall expansion.

Georgia will be led by Tamar, daughter of King George III and Queen Burdukhan, who took the throne following her father’s death in 1184. The civilization’s unique ability is Strength in Unity, which offers an additional Golden Age bonus when moving between era.

The civilization also has access to the Tsikhe, a replacement for walls that has a lower production cost and provides faith. Finally, Georgia’s unique unit is the Khevsureti, a melee unit that gains a combat bonus on hill terrain and can ignore all hill movement penalties.

Georgia joins the Netherlands, Mongolia, North Korea, and the Cree in the Rise and Fall expansion .

Rise and Fall will introduce Great Ages, a new city-based loyalty system, an expansion to the existing Diplomacy and Government systems, nine new leaders, eight new civilizations, and a variety of new units, districts, wonders, and buildings.

Civilization VI: Rise and Fall launches February 8th, 2018.
