Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is is available for purchase today, and to celebrate Ubisoft released a launch trailer that—having played the game—perfectly captures the experience.

The trailer (embedded below) is chockfull of neon-soaked 80s nostalgia, Michael Biehn-voiced Rex Power Colt lines, and thumping’ electronica.

It’s a thing of beauty.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is available on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 as a digital download. It is a completely standalone title that does not require Far Cry 3 to play. So if this title piques your interest (and it goddamn should), I implore you to drop $15 on this wonderful mix of 80s nostalgia, videogame commentary, and all-around fantastic first-person shooter.

EGM’s Blood Dragon review will be up soon.
