Team Ninja Teases New Game, Will Be Shown At Tokyo Game Show

Team Ninja, the development studio behind Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and Metroid: Other M, is going to reveal a new console game at the Tokyo Game Show. Any guesses to what it might be?
We’re not sure either, and the team’s official Twitter feed isn’t giving up any clues, either.
Here’s the update that set off the speculation, which also takes care to mention Dead or Alive 5:
東京ゲームショウつながりでもう一つ。去年の東京ゲームショウでは「DEAD OR ALIVE 5」を初公開しました。というわけで今年も・・・東京ゲームショウに併せて、据置ゲーム機向けの新作を発表しようと思います。

For everyone who can’t read Japanese, here’s how the message above is translated via Google:
Another connection with the Tokyo Game Show. I unveiled the “DEAD OR ALIVE 5″ at the Tokyo Game Show last year. I think in addition to the Tokyo Game Show this year as well … So, and will announce a new game for the stationary machine.
Ignoring the literal parts of the translation, the post seems to confirm that whatever this new game is, it’ll most likely be a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii title.
In fact, Team Ninja might pull something completely out of left field and announce that their newest game is going to be a Nintendo Wii U exclusive, just like Platinum Games did with Bayonetta 2. Oh, how heads would roll if Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 made that kind of bold move.
