Dead Island developer Techland has announced that its first-person fantasy dungeon-crawler Hellraid will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2015.
The title was original set to launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but will now be skipping those platforms in favor of their newer, shiner counterparts. A Steam Early Access release has also been announced for this August.
Hellraid has undergone a few changes since it was last seen, both in terms of looks and features. Techland has moved the game from its Chrome Engine 5 to Chrome Engine 6, the same engine being used for the developer’s upcoming horror title Dying Light. Also, the four classes that were first announced have now been merged into a single playable class that has access to powers from all four.
Players will have the option of either playing alone or with one to three friends across three game modes: Story, Mission, and Arena.
The game was first announced with a 2013 launch in mind, but it was delayed until 2014 back in October 2013.
