Tecmo Koei Gives Release Dates for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, Dead or Alive 5 Plus on Vita

Tecmo Koei announced the release dates for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus and Dead or Alive 5 Plus—PS Vita ports of their PS3 counterparts, which both boast new features.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will drop February 26, 2013 in the US, February 28 in France, and March 1 for the rest of Europe. Sigma 2 adds new costumes, the Ninja Race mode, and allows players to switch between characters mid-battle.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus hits shelves March 19, 2013 in the US and March 22 in Europe and Australia. The PS Vita version adds a smartphone-ish way to play: by holding the Vita vertically, the game adopts a first-perspon perspective. Moves are performed by touch-based “taps, swipes, and pinches.”
