Tekken Hybrid Limited Edition fights for your money

THE BUZZ: Tekken Hybrid is an interesting release—it’s the combination of Tekken Tag Tournament HD, the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, and Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D The Movie. So, it isn’t exactly a game, and it isn’t exactly a movie—it’s a multi-armed mutant that wants to attack your city with a wide variety of Tekken-related destruction!
Given that Tekken Hybrid is a release so tailored for the die-hard Tekken fan, the announcement today of an even more hardcore Limited Edition comes as no surprise. In this special box, not only will you receive the main Tekken Hybrid release (containing all of the above), but also a nice large-sized art book, a two-disc soundtrack (containing tracks from Tekken Tag 1 and 2), and a code for Tekken-themed costumes and accessories in PlayStation Home.
Tekken Hybrid hits on November 22nd, so if you’d like to get your hands on the Limited Edition, you’ll want to pre-order before then.
EGM’s TAKE: I’m not much of a Tekken fan, but after checking out a small portion of Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D at E3, I’m really curious to see the full movie. It looked like it might—for a chance—be a fighting game-based movie actually worth watching.
