Tekken Tag Tournament 2

THE BUZZ: Namco teased fans with a new trailer of the upcoming sequel to their big budget brawler, Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The beautifully stylish trailer showed combatants punching, kicking, and tag teaming each other against a dark backdrop with trails of blue and red spraying between fist and face. The CG used in the trailer was incredibly detailed and the combat was reminiscent of Capcom’s Street Fighter 4 teaser years ago.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s been nearly 12 years since the original game busted up our arcades, and we miss it dearly. While the Tekken franchise has had its high and low points over the years, Tekken Tag Tournament has held a soft spot in our hearts as being one of the first worthwhile titles for the Playstation 2 when it launched 2000.
