Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition Finally Brings Back Tekken Ball
Posted on October 12, 2012 AT 01:30pm
Namco Bandai is finally checking off the list of things fans want from Tekken 3, as the upcoming Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 now features Tekken Ball. All we need is Gon, and that’s a wrap.
In the game’s newest trailer, Tekken Ball mode is shown just as you would’ve imagined it, although it’s currently unknown whether it’ll remain a Wii U exclusive.
(Hopefully, Namco Bandai makes it a free DLC option for PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year or early 2013.)
Along with Tekken Ball, even more characters are shown sporting iconic Nintendo outfits from Mario, Zelda, and Star Fox.
Yes, even the bears are doing it now.
Check out the trailer below and see what the partnership between Nintendo and Namco Bandai has wrought on the world. At the very least, it seems like the Wii U will have a robust de facto fighting game option for the holidays.
