Bandai Namco’s crossover fighting game Tekken X Street Fighter is still in development, according to Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada.

When asked by a fan for an update on the game during a San Diego Comic-Con, Harada said that it is “still in development and it’s still moving forward.” He later added: “It is proceeding. It hasn’t been canceled, so please relax.”

Harada also echoed a previous statement he made last year regarding the timing of the game’s release. He said that with all the fighting games that various teams have in development, such as the free-to-play titles Tekken Revolution and Soulcalibur: Lost SwordsRise of Incarnates, and the recently announced Tekken 7, finding the right time to release the crossover title is a challenge.

Tekken X Street Fighter was first announced in 2010, and its Capcom-developed crossover brother Street Fighter X Tekken was released in 2012.
