En Masse has announced the official date of TERA‘s free-to-play conversion.

The switch will be made on February 5 and the developer plans to add three new PvP Battlegrounds and the Crucible of Flame dungeon at the same time.

Anyone who has subscribed to TERA at some point will be given Founder status which offers additional character slots, bank tabs, and a special mount. Players who are currently subscribed will be moved onto Elite status and will get dungeon bonuses, additional quests, daily items, mounts, and a store discount.
