It appears that earlier rumors were true as U.K. retailer Tesco has put up a listing for Call of Duty: Ghosts alongside some box art for the game.

The game is listed for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC with a place holder date set for the end of the year–usual release date is early November. Of course this isn’t an official confirmation, but it seems odd for a major retailer to list a game that is simply a rumor doesn’t it?

Activision’s community manager has previously stated that we will hear about the next Call of Duty by E3 2013, so presumably not long to go now. You can check out the listing here.
