THE BUZZ: The latest issue of Famitsu features an interview with Final Fantasy Versus XIII Director Tetsuya Nomura, in which he comments on how far into development the team are with the game.

Nomura mentions that he recently did a walkthrough of the entire world map, checking the game’s side areas, dungeons and towns. He said that he was amazed by how wide and impressive the world was. Final Fantasy Versus XIII will use Square-Enix’s next generation Luminous Engine.

EGM’s TAKE: Versus XIII is probably one of the most highly anticipated RPGs of all time, we just wish that Square would show us some more if it!
