The Kirby game for the Switch that Nintendo revealed at E3 2017 now has an official title and release window.
Finally revealed as Kirby Star Allies, the puffy pink hero will team up with three other characters in up to four-player co-op or in single-player, where you can throw hearts at enemy characters and recruit them to fight with you. Nintendo hasn’t detailed whether co-op will be local only or if there will be some kind of online multiplayer.
What sets Star Allies apart from other Kirby games is that the different characters can combine their copy abilities and elemental power to create new abilities that will better defeat enemies and are more suited to solve certain puzzles. For example, a player can use ESP on a stone ally for a ranged stone drop, or turn bombs into hot air balloons that will help you reach a new part of the level.
