Titled Assassin’s Creed: Duel, former UI designer/artist Benoit Perreault’s online portfolio contains mockups of the 2.5D fighting game, which by his design included other Ubisoft heavy hitters, such as Jade (Beyond Good & Evil), Rayman, and Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell.
Perreault worked for Ubisoft from 2004 to March 2012. The project images are listed among his other Ubisoft-related portfolio items, making us wonder if the title was something in early stages of design or just some imaginative ideas Perreault was kicking around. If real, he imagined Duel as a downloadable fighter for XBLA and PSN
In all likelihood, Assassin’s Creed: Duel is just Perreault’s own creative mind at play, not an officially-sanctioned Ubisoft project. I mean, the “screens” on his portfolio are marked with “Not an Actual Game.” But the concept is neat, if nothing else.
What are your thoughts, AC fans? Would you play an Assassin’s Creed-themed fighter?
