PC gamers are probably feeling a little hard done by as console gamers are busy tucking into The Amazing Spider-Man, but don’t worry because Activision has just announced the game’s official PC release date.

The sad part is it’s in six weeks time, August 10 to be exact. The game will come with Steam achievements and cloud saving. No reason was offered for the delay, but it’s probably the same one as most major releases, piracy concerns.

The game launched in the U.S. this Tuesday for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and is due out tomorrow, June 29, in Europe.
