It has always been said that gaming is for kids and teenagers, we’ve listened to this mantra our whole lives, however it seems that things are about to change.
A recent study released by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has revealed that the average age of gamers is now 37 years old.
Some other interesting facts can be found below.
– 72% of American households play computer or video games
- 29% of gamers were over the age of 50
- 42% of gamers are female
- 55% of gamers play on their phones or handheld device
Gaming MO: Nick is a first person shooter type of gamer and enjoys heated bouts of Halo with friends and family (even while being schooled by his children).
