THE BUZZ: 2K Games has released the official launch trailer for The Darkness 2.

EGM’s TAKE: While the trailer doesn’t show any actual gameplay it does give you a representation of the madness that the game will bring. The Darkness 2 features a new four player co-op multiplayer mode known as Vendettas (a preview can be found here), which feature four characters who can all wield the Darkness working together to complete a variety of missions. The trailer also showcases Jimmy’s ability to quad-wield with dual pistols and two arms of Darkness, which can be used to throw objects and enemies as well as shield you from gunfire. The Darkness 2 does everything bigger and badder, just try not to let it get in your head. Remember you can’t control the Darkness, it controls you.
