Tom Clancy's The Division

When Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 players get to the cusp of liberating Washington, D.C., from the grip of chaos, new challenges will be waiting to set them back once more.

After The Division 2‘s story campaign wraps up, the game world will be invaded by a new hostile faction, the Black Tusk. This group of highly-trained and well-equipped mercenaries will take advantage of the lull in the action by infiltrating locations all over the map, forcing players to reclaim familiar missions and combat zones.

Fortunately for agents, the Black Tusk isn’t the only new arrival in D.C. once the campaign concludes. Beating the campaign also unlocks weapon specializations for players, letting them choose between the Sharpshooter, Survivalist, and Demolitionist. The specialization players choose will determine which signature weapon they unlock–a high-caliber sniper rifle, crossbow, or grenade launcher, respectively– which will come with other specialized buffs that help them fill their role.

The Black Tusk and weapon specializations are highlighted in The Division 2‘s new Endgame trailer below.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is slated to launch March 15th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game has a open beta dropping in early March, but ahead of that, a PC-exclusive technical test will gauge the success of fixes made since the private beta.
