The Division 2 gets look ahead at upcoming content, free weekend

During its E3 2019 press conference, Ubisoft showed off a quick look at the next three episodes coming to Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

First up is Episode 1, titled “D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions” in July. Division Agents will head out in the woodlands on the outskirts of Washington DC, in an attempt to both find President Ellis and hunt down the leader of the Outcasts. Episode 1 will also include the brand-new Expeditions, in which “players will have to participate every week to progress through the different wings of Trinity College.”

Next up this fall is Episode 2, “Pentagon: The Last Castle.” Unfolding at the famed home of the Department of Defense, players must defend the Pentagon—and its secrets—from the Black Tusks. Episode 2 also brings the game’s second 8-player Raid. This time around, “Agents will venture in the core of a Foundry, setting the stage for epic combats in the middle of melted metal and massive metal castings.”

Finally, Episode 3 will return Agents to a very familiar place when it hits in early 2020: New York City. In “Coney Island: Homecoming,” not only will new challenges await back in the Big Apple, but also a familiar nemesis.

As well, Ubisoft announced that from June 13th through June 16th, players will be able to hop in and try out the full The Division 2 experience for free.
